FoRita was created with the passion and creative vision that my mother Rita inspired in me throughout her life and lives on in my work. We believe designing your home is more than just decor, it is understanding the individuals living there and how to enhance and organize life within and outside of the home to create real harmony and happiness. We design landscape, interiors, organization of life items, and create picture perfect holiday interiors.
Galveston, TX
This five bedroom 3.5 bath beachfront home had a tight budget and short turnaround time. We utilized upcycling previous furnishings by repurposing thoughtful design to give a more elevated look incorporating new purchases and custom “day of” pieces which successfully had a contract within a day of being on the market at ask.
Park City- Willow Creek
This 5 bd/5.5 bath project was remodeled two times over a 10 year period, this was the end result before it was sold at ask with contract within 24 hours. Entire landscape was also redesigned with a summer garden at every corner.
Park City - Thaynes
This 5/4.5 project was taken down to the studs for a complete remodeled inside/out with floorpan reconfiguration for a better layout in ski living. Contract within days and above ask and completely turnkey.
ABOUT ME
I have always believed that where and how we live and the events/parties we give are an artistic representation of either who we are or who we aspire to be. Your home should be a reflection of you and a place that is beautiful to you inside your walls and outside in nature. Our journey starts with a friendship and open communication on how our group can give you a place that is truly your own.
Designing and holiday decorations with my mother as a child planted a seed, and now with decades of growth it has many branches. Painting, faux finishes, soft design goods have been part of my career for over 30 years. Due to clients and friends asking, I also incorporated events and flowers into the business. Currently, FoRita Design Group only takes on projects with known customers as our group is investing, reimagining, constructing and furnishing in real estate turnkey properties for others to enjoy in vacation spots in the US.
